This is an incredible find in this age. A time capsule from 1957 and discovered with everything that came with it from new. It is sold with it's original Rolex gold hot-stamped leather strap in light grey and period correct crown steel buckle. The original tag with it's green string bears the matching numbers to this watch. The original back cover sticker disc is found inside the outer box while the Rolex-green velvet lined box is in as-new condition and so are the documents like the A4 sized chronometer certificate & fold-out manual. The watch and accessories appear to be stored away in a climate controlled atmosphere as the items presents in as-new condition and the leather is soft and supple; something impossible to achieve if stored in our humid climate. This watch has only seen light use over the six decades.

The Ref.6569 is a rare bird in a 3pc steel Oyster case which has an engine-turned bezel, a hallmark of Rolex design that appeared from 1930s Oysters to dress watches. It has an original matt beige dial with hobnail texture & Explorer style indices featuring the Arabic nos on the quarters. It is fitted with a chronometer rated automatic Cal.1030 and this was the movement that powered all automatic Rolexes of the era from this to Datejust, Day-date, Explorer, GMT-Master and Submariner. The movement in our watch here shines as new.

It is stamped IV.57 inside the back cover which signifies 4th quarter of 1957 production while the COSC cert for the movement was done between June to July 1958.

This watch is in very good condition for it's age with evidence of Rolex maintenance but we have no records of recent history and is sold with a one-year warranty as always.

It will be quite impossible to find something like this again. The box alone is worth more than S$1K & the vintage strap and buckle are worth another S$1K.
