This charming vintage Omega small seconds with an Explorer style dial. The movement has just been overhauled recently and the green gold filled case lightly polished. The gold indices on the dial and hands are individually polished by hands to restore it's lustre and a new slim acrylic crystal has been fitted to enhance this slim beauty. Over S$500 has been invested into this watch.

There is an engraving on the stainless steel back cover "W.W.K. 12.25.53" informing us that this was a Christmas present which adds to a nice history on this watch. The movement is traced to 1951 and matches.

The original silvered dial shows some patina and is in decent condition for it's age with solid gold indices. The yellow gold cap has worn off on the cover of the original crown but the Omega logo remains. The green gold filled case is in very good condition with little trace of brassing on the edges but very mild. Upon unlocking the steel back cover, you'll be greeted by a gleaming movement in pink gold which is a delight and shows the quality of this watch.

Overall, this is a very good vintage with clean provenance and largely unmolested example looking for a good home. Takes about 16 winds to full power reserve.
