This is an interesting Post-War watch with historical evidence of Jaeger LeCoultre and Vacheron & Constantin together. The movement has the US import code VXN for the Swiss manufacturer which belongs to Vacheron & Constantin and they were the agent for LeCoultre watches in North America under Vacheron-LeCoultre.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre brand name was only adopted for global sales from 1985 onwards.

This is a very attractive watch from WW2 era with a colour matching dial and case. It takes about 21 times of winding to full power reserve and keeps reasonable timing but this watch is not shockproof protected so please don't drop it like any watches. The watch is presented in very good condition and can be a daily timekeeper.

A great starter vintage watch with pedigree provenance for a small price. Remember, not every JLC watch is signed with VC partnership and this is one of them.

Straps 14mm lug size. Fitted with a new non-JLC black croco L/strap with unsigned buckle
