We acquired this rare Ulysse Nardin Chronometer from a collector. The style and construction dates back to 1940s with a mint movement that is superbly finished & protected by Incabloc shock-resisting absorber for the balance. This watch was for the American market & made in 14ct yellow gold with a polished case and fitting bracelet made by Kreisler, a reputable bracelet manufacturer.

Unlike other Swiss imports, this watch was properly stamped by the Swiss factory. It is lightly polished and the tank shaped case retains the angular edges with a thick acrylic crystal. It is overall in near mint condition. The accompanying original box is a wonderful accessory to have and worth several hundreds on it's own. The back cover has an old period engraving with initials E.J.T. probably for the 1st owner's name.

This gold watch weighs approx 55grams including the movement which is worth S$2500 in gold weight today.

The watch is beautiful with strong architectural lines to the case while the inter-linked brick-style bracelet is soft and wraps around any wrist shape to fit a 16cm or smaller wrist. A very elegant watch and a class of it's own.

Non-water resistant and do not over-wind. Watch is about 80yrs old and can be worn daily if you're careful.
