A very attractive and unusual pocket watch made for Tiffany & Co by IWC for the American market. It features a solid 18ct green gold case with filigree engravings on the sides that's filled with black enamel & the bow-ring at 6 o'clock so this watch could be worn around your neck like a pendant and make time reading an ease.

According to archives, the movement of this watch was manufactured in 1916 so it's well over 100 years old now!

The flat Swiss made Lepine movement three finger bridges, a bi-metallic balance wheel with gold screws and blued Breguet overcoil hairspring. This movement was highly jewelled in chaton style and timed to 6 positions with polished circular grain base plate. Overall, a very high quality movement was used here.

The solid gold case shows little wear and free from any deep scratches except a couple of dimples on the back cover but only visible when viewed from an angle with light. A green stone cabochon crown completes the watch and there's a black enamelled monogram featuring S JS alphabets and this watch has a nice heavy weight 58.6 grams.
