This is the smallest pocket watch that we have acquired from Vacheron & Constantin till date. Measuring just 31mm across, it presents in near mint condition throughout which is a great find and shows that this watch was cherished and largely kept away for over a century. The watch is triple signed and the solid 18ct gold case has no presentation monograms nor engraving which is unusual as most of these came with personalised details but not here so it starts as a Carte blanche with you. It weighs around 29 gram.

The hinges are tight and the watch stands on it's on with the clam covers wide opened. The white enamel dial is in perfect condition and the name is signed in a curved semi-circular format which adds a decorative style to it. It is fitted with a gold gilt frosted brass movement and blued steel screws with bi-metallic balance & blued steel Breguet overcoil hairspring. The gold cuvette has a very beautiful factory signature on it.

You may wear it with a chain, leather or nylon strap and even keep it in a customed leather pouch for carrying with you.

This watch keeps time fairly well and will definitely be a daily watch even today or for as long as you take good care of it and is something to pass down the family.

Pin-set. To set time, simply depress the pin @ 11 o'clock then turn the crown to set time. Never pull the crown on this watch but wind as normal. It takes about 9 winds on the crown to full power reserve.
