Pre-owned. Comes with orig. boxes, manual & dated paper purchased new from the boutique. This gorgeous Richard Lange is a one owner's watch in mint condition and purchased new for S$42000 with the tax invoice. This model with the blued steel hands is a boutique-only model hence it is not available to other retailers and sold at full retail without discount.

The original strap shows very little sign of usage & is in great condition while the the polished gold case is free from any dents or major scratches to the naked eyes. Except for two tiny dents to the edges of the two lower lugs underneath, an unusual place to find flaws and likely caused by someone using the pin-bar remover tool while changing the strap. These two tiny dents can be easily polished away but due to the location, nobody would notice it when the watch is worn.

This model was created in honour of Richard, the first-born son of the founder Ferdinand A. Lange. Richard was subsequently appointed as a director of the company and he is an intelligent scientist plus inventor who held more than two dozens of patents under his name. The watch itself is inspired by observation watches that are so accurate that military, scientists, aviation and marine uses them for timekeeping. This watch adheres to the basic logic of providing time in simplicity and with legibility of up to one sixth of a seconds, an incredible feature thanks to the large dial and high accuracy.

Lange has a boutique in Orchard Ion & discount is tightly controlled while the factory has also reduced the production numbers to less than 6000 a year now, making them more exclusive than ever.

This watch was subjected to a full service by the Lange service centre in Oct 2015 & sold with a precious 2yrs warranty from that date. It is in near flawless condition and will provide joy plus a peaceful mind for many months to come as most pre-owned Lange watches are sold without the factory warranty but this watch has it.
