Pre-owned. No boxes but has original dated paper in pouch.

This is a rare and desirable Patek Philippe Calatrava Officer watch in 18ct White gold. It was purchased new in 2002 from Gubelin in Switzerland.

The Ref.5053 is a Calatrava with an automatic movement and date housed in an Officer styled case with distinctive screw-end scrolled lugs but the hallmark is that desirable hinged back cover which opens up like a pocket watch to reveal the lovely automatic movement under a glass plate. Watch is in very good condition and free from any major scratches nor dings. The original strap shows light wear and can be used.

This is a discontinued model & rather rare in the pre-owned market as Patek Philippe has a smaller production in those years. With current production Calatrava with an automatic+date movement costing over S$50K, this watch represents a fascinating bargain with us.
