Pre-owned. Comes with complete orig. boxes, manuals, red tag (green tag kept by AD as per SOP back then), acrylic bezel guard & dated paper in green pouch. This is the full package.

This Ref.16700 is a single owner's watch from new & purchased from a Korean DFS back in 1999 with the certificate left undated. It has only been worn less than 5 times, never polished & fresh to the market. The green sticker with gold print on the back cover is perfect and red seal on the buckle is intact. In fact, upon handling this watch, the bracelet still has that fresh stiffness to the joints and case edges are sharp as new but do expect some fine handling micro hairlines. The inside of the bracelet has no wear marks (usually caused by scratching of the buckle) which supports the low usage. We opened this watch for the first time in 20yrs to inspect the movement and replaced the rear gasket. The movement winds silky smooth and all functions as it should. A time capsule.

This is as good as it can get and any better will be a New Old Stock. The GMT Master One is the original Pepsi and made famous during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics although the blue and red bezel insert was introduced many decades earlier. This model was finally discontinued in 1999, making this A series watch the last of it's kind with a luminova dial and signed "Swiss" at the bottom. It is very difficult to find one in this condition & the complete set makes it very desirable for the collector.

The GMT Master II (2) Ref.16710 continued in production with the all black or red & black bezel inserts until 2010.
