Stylish and practical with a clever design. This is a vintage novelty item for the collector and one of those pocket watch for the well heeled traveller of the past who would need an alarm for waking up or a reminder for meetings.

These watches by LeCoultre were usually cased in aluminium as it's light weight makes it a suitable alloy for a travelling companion. This example that we have here is in excellent condition with little signs of wear. The hand wound movement Calibre 814 was first introduced in 1953 and this watch was meant for the North American market. You may hook it up with a leather, nylon string, chain or simply in a fitted leather pouch and carry it for your daily activities or simply as a little alarm clock in the display. Great for a gift and very affordable.
